7月16日以來，朝鮮「清川江」號貨輪一直被扣押在巴拿馬科隆港。

巴拿馬表示，裝有古巴老舊武器但未申報的朝鮮「清川江」號貨輪，「毫無疑問地違反了」聯合國對平壤的武器禁運措施。
巴拿馬公安部聲明說，在7月份截獲這艘朝鮮貨輪後派去檢查的聯合國專家報告證實，朝鮮違反了武器禁運禁令。
兩名朝鮮外交官目前正在巴拿馬協助被扣押的35名朝鮮船員。
古巴此前發表聲明，承認曾把這些武器送到朝鮮修理。
法新社引述巴拿馬公安部官員說，當局已獲悉聯合國專家小組完成的調查報告草稿內容。
據古巴外交部此前的聲明顯示，朝鮮貨輪載運的老舊武器重240噸，包括兩組防空導彈、九枚導彈的零部件、兩架米格21戰鬥機和15台米格戰鬥機的發動機。
巴拿馬公安部的聲明是在朝鮮外交官在前往一個前軍事基地探望了「清川江」號貨輪的船員後發佈的。
這些朝鮮船員涉嫌走私武器被巴拿馬當局拘押。一旦被裁定有罪，他們有可能被判處12年監禁。
聯合國專家小組在兩周前完成了調查報告，但還沒有正式公開報告內容。
