美國的一位女性警官在上崗第一天遭槍擊身亡，她剛剛在此前一天宣誓就職。現年28歲的金敦（Ashley Guindon）女士是在前往佛吉尼亞州伍德里奇處理一起家庭糾紛時遭遇不測的。伍德里奇在美國首都華盛頓以南大約32公里的地方。在槍擊事件中受傷的還有金敦警官的另外兩名同事，他們被送往醫院，傷情不詳。美聯社報道說，犯罪嫌疑人名叫漢密爾頓（Ronald Hamilton），32歲，是五角大樓的一名軍官。當局表示，漢密爾頓首先開槍打死了自己的妻子，然後向趕到現場的警官開槍。漢密爾頓夫婦11歲的兒子事發時也在現場，沒有受傷。（編譯：躍生）
