【大紀元2015年08月31日訊】（大紀元紐約訊）俄羅斯著名選手沙拉波娃（Maria Sharapova）在美網正賽開始前一天宣布，因腿傷退出比賽。

在8月28日的記者會上，這位美女選手還曾表示，自己的腿傷只是肌肉的問題，並表示沒有大礙。並稱自己已經盡全力準備這次的比賽。
她還稱讚她的首輪對手、奧地利的Daria Gavrilova是個優秀選手，並表示在今年的兩次比賽中各贏一次。
