【大紀元7月29日報導】（中央社耶路撒冷29日法新電）在右翼猶太團體施壓下，以色列總理尼坦雅胡（Benjamin Netanyahu）今天批准「立即」於約旦河西岸佔領區貝特艾（Beit El）興建300戶屯墾住宅。尼坦雅胡辦公室聲明指出，在遭兼併的東耶路撒冷另蓋504戶住宅的計畫也已獲准。根據這項聲明，貝特艾屯墾區其他房屋拆除後，當局3年前已承諾約旦河西岸300戶屯墾住宅的興建計畫。3月大選後，尼坦雅胡掌握的國會席次只比半數多一席，屯墾團體在他的右派政府內具有重大影響力。以色列在約旦河西岸佔領區的屯墾區，被國際法視為非法，不過以國並不這麼認為。
