【大紀元4月30日報導】（中央社嘉義縣30日電）阿里山林班地今天發生火警，因地勢陡峭，僅能以人力牽引水管灌救，截至晚上10時40分控制，燃燒面積約0.1公頃。

林務局嘉義林管處表示，大埔區228林班地晚間近7時傳出火警，當地為石竹、麻竹混合林地，奮起湖工作站人員及嘉義縣消防局奮起湖消防分隊立即派人車前往灌救。
由於現場位於半山腰，地勢陡峭，車輛無法到達，只能靠人力灌救，使用消防幫浦打水，人力牽引水管，徒步攀登到現場搶救。
嘉義山區氣溫低，火勢延燒緩慢，雖然搶救難度高，搶救人員積極接力灌救，已於晚上10時40分左右控制火勢，燃燒面積約0.1公頃。
