飛來峰乃靈隱、天竺兩山之間。梵僧慧理登而謂之：「此乃天竺國靈鷲山之小嶺，不知何以飛來，仙靈隱窟，今復爾否？」因樹錫結庵，名曰靈隱。
林景熙詩云:「何年移竺國，秀色發稜層，清極不知夏，虛中欲悟僧。樹幽嵐氣重，泉落乳花凝，猶憶烹茶處，閒來話葛籐。」
靈鷲飛來移梵峰
釋法東傳信眾奉
古寺隱靈秀嶂佳
朝天菡萏石玲瓏
天光瀲瀲曉色開
松風颯颯晨露重
惜乎當下非古時
紅朝魔亂惑人共@
