英國劍橋公爵和公爵夫人威廉與凱特宣佈他們的兒子喬治王子受洗禮的細節。
喬治王子將於10月23日在倫敦聖詹姆斯宮的皇家小教堂接受洗禮，坎特布雷大主教將為他主持洗禮。
今年7月22日在倫敦聖瑪麗醫院出生的喬治王子是英國排位第三的王位繼承人。
BBC記者說，參加喬治王子洗禮儀式的主要是家庭成員，還有一些貴賓。
威廉和凱特之所以選擇聖詹姆斯宮的皇家小教堂，是因為它比較小，他們希望喬治王子的洗禮是一個小型的私人活動。
坎特布雷大主教對請他主持喬治王子的洗禮表示很高興，他說，這是極大的榮幸，毫無疑問將是一個非常喜悅的慶祝儀式。
喬治王子將穿一件1841年維多利亞女王的長女維多利亞公主殿下穿的蕾絲與緞子受洗袍的複製品。
英女王的三兒子韋塞克斯伯爵和夫人的兒子塞文子爵是第一個穿這件受洗袍的王室寶寶，那是在2008年他受洗的時候。
