【大紀元9月5日報導】（中央社記者林瑞益新竹5日電）苗栗縣一名日姓男子非法盜採牛樟木，新竹市與苗栗警方循線破獲一個貨櫃屋，起出重達6.2公噸的牛樟木。

新竹市警察局刑警大隊偵三隊今天說，上個月接獲情資，指稱苗栗縣一名日姓男子非法盜採牛樟木，並利用貨櫃屋掩飾培植牛樟芝。
經多日偵查、蒐證，警方報請苗栗地檢署檢察官指揮偵辦，新竹市與苗栗警方昨天聯手破獲此盜採牛樟木案。
警方表示，在苗栗縣南庄鄉日姓嫌疑人住處旁貨櫃屋內，查獲價值新台幣128萬元的牛樟木214塊。警方利用兩輛吊車，耗費數小時才把6.2公噸的214塊牛樟木塊全數搬出，經林務局估計市值達128萬元，另牛樟木上的附著物牛樟芝79兩，市價95萬元。
警方呼籲，民眾勿隨意盜採牛樟木，共同愛護此珍貴的林木資源，並拒絕買賣牛樟木。
