【大紀元2013年08月28日訊】（大紀元記者冉惠中波特蘭編譯報導）下週三（9月4號）開始，波特蘭公共交通乘客可以通過智能手機購票上車。波特蘭是美國全面實行這個系統的第一個城市。

TriMet公司是俄勒岡州最大的巴士和輕軌通勤交通服務商，其新的電子票應用程序將在下週亮相。乘客無需再從機器中購買紙質車票，免費應用程序可以讓您輕鬆使用Android設備或iPhone購買公交票。
該款應用程序由波特蘭安全移動票務軟件和服務商GlobeSherpa開發。在今年3月，俄勒岡天使基金（Oregon Angel Fund）為該公司注入了130萬美元的啟動資金。
TriMet向俄勒岡州人報表示，公司預計這個新的應用程序，可以節省交易成本，降低和消除售票機維修成本約幾百萬美元。 GlobeSherpa還實施了一項安全功能的應用程序，允許工作人員輕鬆驗票。
