朝鮮戰爭威脅言論進一步升級。朝鮮稱已經批准了對美國目標的核打擊計劃。朝鮮軍方警告說戰爭可能「今天或明天」就會爆發。
朝鮮官方新聞社當地時間周四發表的一份聲明稱，朝鮮已經「正式告訴白宮和五角大樓」，「美國對朝鮮日益升級的敵對政策將被朝鮮人民和軍隊以及尖端核打擊所粉碎」。
美國對朝鮮這一最新威脅還沒有立即的回應，但美國國防部長早些時候說，朝鮮對美國和其盟國構成了「真實和明顯」的威脅。
