韓國國防部稱，若開城工業園韓方人員的人身安全遭受威脅可能採取軍事措施應對。
韓國國防部長在「朝核安全戰略特別委員會會議」上說，正在制定軍事措施，以免在開城工業園區的員工人身安全遭受威脅。
據韓聯社報道，韓國防部長金寬鎮表示，應阻止在開城園區出現最糟糕的情況。他說，已做好了包括軍事措施在內的萬全準備，以防萬一。
金寬鎮還說，為應對朝鮮挑釁，韓國前線部隊已具備了在5日內擊潰七成對方戰鬥力的戒備態勢。
