協助伊斯蘭國 澳洲護士遭起訴

【大紀元7月26日報導】（中央社墨爾本26日路透電）警方表示，一名澳洲護士今天出庭，他因協助伊斯蘭國（IS）好戰團體在敘利亞作戰而遭到起訴。現年39歲的護士布魯克曼（Adam Brookman），24日晚間從敘利亞經由土耳其返回澳洲後，隨即在雪梨遭到逮捕，由於墨爾本當地反恐任務部隊要求，他被移交至澳洲第2大城市墨爾本出庭。澳洲聯邦警察（AFP）在聲明中指出，「這名男子將被控在敘利亞期間故意協助恐怖組織IS」。雪梨晨驅報（The Sydney Morning Herald）報導，這項罪名最高可判25年徒刑。
