【大紀元2014年10月06日訊】（大紀元記者伊虎綜合報導）馬里蘭州稅務局上週修正了2015至2016財政年度的收入預期，新財年的收入預計減少4億美元，主要原因是入息稅徵收比預估的少。

馬州公共建設工程委員會（Board of Public Works）從今年7月開始的新財年起將減少8千3百萬元的預算開支，這項措施將有助於馬州的收支平衡。
馬州州長今年1月通過該州年度預算時聲稱，馬里蘭州今年預算大約是160億4千萬元，但最新的修正顯示今年的缺口大約是2億3千萬元。
