　　中新社厦门11月4日电 (记者 杨伏山)昔日名噪一时的原厦门远华集团总部"红楼"，4日被辟为厦门市职工服务中心。
　　中共厦门市委常委、总工会主席詹沧洲，福建省总工会副主席高榕和职工代表，当天共同为该中心揭牌。
　　位于厦门湖里区这座"红楼"从2004年5月起成为"厦门市总工会进城务工人员服务中心"，此次是将服务功能和范围进一步扩大。新的职工服务中心成立后将把职能从原有的困难帮扶拓展到对职工人文关怀、心理疏导等方面；同时在职工技能培训、技术创新等方面大胆探索。
　　厦门市总工会常务副主席陈永红称，这是该市总工会构建全方位服务职工工作体系的具体实践。
　　高榕表示，希望厦门市总工会能大胆探索，为福建省创立一个可供借鉴的服务职工的新模式。
　　陈永红介绍说，新成立的该职工服务中心将在继续做好技能培训、就业帮扶、医疗互助、法律援助、职工周末讲坛、联谊交友等工作品牌的同时，在扩大服务对象、拓展服务领域、创新服务手段等方面多动脑筋，多下功夫。(完)
