世界經濟論壇公布最新一份全球經濟競爭力報告，中國排名第29。

世界經濟論壇公布最新一份全球經濟競爭力報告，中國排名第29，台灣第12，香港第7位。
瑞士、新加坡和芬蘭在全球競爭力排名中位列前3位，排名與去年一樣。德國從第6位升至第4位。
總部設在瑞士日內瓦的世界經濟論壇說，作為全球最大經濟體的美國，其全球競爭力排名從第7升至第5位。
中國的全球競爭力排名為第29位，與去年一樣，在金磚國家中保持領先地位。
報告說，香港在基建和金融市場發展方面都排在第1位；商品市場和勞工市場效率，分別排在第2位和第3位。香港在創新方面排在第22位，健康及基礎教育排在第31位。
報告說，瑞典的排名跌至第6位，荷蘭排名跌至第8，日本的競爭力升至第9，英國排名跌至第10。
全球競爭力報告的排名依據是全球競爭力指數（GCI)，該報告把競爭力定義為決定某個國家或地區生產力水凖的制度、政策和因素的集合。
這個競爭力概念包括靜態和動態的組成部分。
該報告將其歸納為12個組成部分：制度、基礎設施、宏觀經濟環境、健康和基礎教育、高等教育和培訓、產品市場效率、勞工市場效率、金融市場效發展、技術凖備、市場規模、商務成熟度和創新度。
