美國總統奧巴馬淡化有關他在訪問南非期間與曼德拉見面的傳聞。
奧巴馬正在非洲訪問，他在塞內加爾登上空軍一號專機到南非前對記者說，「我不需要拍照作秀」。
94歲的南非前總統曼德拉6月早些時候開始病程惡化，目前情況仍然危險但穩定下來。
奧巴馬說，這個時候他最不想的就是打擾曼德拉的家人，他完全不需要這個拍照機會。
他說，他給曼德拉家人的信息是，由衷地感激曼德拉的領導，美國人向他們致以問候。
