美國向關灣增派醫護人員應對囚徒絕食

美國軍方證實，關塔那摩灣基地160名在押囚犯中100人已經開始絕食抗議。

面對越來越多的囚犯加入絕食抗議活動，美國加強了駐關塔那摩灣基地的醫護人員配置。
美國軍方一名發言人豪斯上校說，軍方在周末緊急向駐古巴基地調派了約40名醫護人員。
他還說，仍在押的160名囚犯中100人已開始絕食抗議，而其中已有21人被通過鼻管餵送液體。
關塔那摩囚犯最初的絕食抗議始於三個月之前；當時有囚犯指稱看守人員對《古蘭經》「不敬」。
目前的抗議浪潮已經擴展為針對生活條件和無限期關押的不滿。
