　　北斗系统预计2020年服务全球
　　本报讯(记者屈建成 通讯员吴江龙 高柯夫 实习生曹婧甜 徐潇声) 预计到2020年，我国"北斗系统"可开启全球服务，昨天，中国工程院院士、原武汉大学校长、现任国家卫星定位系统工程技术研究中心主任刘经南透露了这一信息。
　　昨天，刘院士应邀在汉阳区作了一场科普报告，他在报告中介绍，我国的北斗卫星导航系统已逐步拓展到海洋渔业、精密农业、气象、电信、测绘等应用领域，产生了显著的经济、社会效益。相比GPS系统，北斗系统的优势在于，在保证全球精确度、可用度的前提下，确保亚太区域高精确度、高可用度，这在一定程度上保证了我国及亚太周边地区的安全保障优势，同时，北斗系统在亚太区域具有地基增强系统、天基增强系统一体化设计，也具有短消息通信功能，应用前景十分光明。
