在中国两会即将召开之际，天安门母亲向人大和政协发出公开信，呼吁人大代表及政协委员关注讨论六四，推进公正解决"六四"问题。公开信称，"六四"至今已经快二十四个年头了，而时至今日，中国必须义无反顾地推行政治改革，但要改革，首先必须解决"六四"问题。你认为中国新领导人应否解决六四问题？
