[科技]微软MSN客户端关闭暂不影响Messenger服务(01/12 10:40)

　　新浪科技讯 北京时间1月12日早间消息，微软本周表示，尽管对Live Messenger客户端的支持将于3月份停止(不包括中国大陆市场)，但微软仍将继续提供Messenger服务。
　　本周早些时候，微软宣布，Live Messenger客户端将于3月15日停止提供服务，而希望使用IM工具的用户需要改用Skype。自2011年收购Skype以来，微软一直在推动该业务的发展。目前，Skype已支持微软帐户登录，并与Outlook进行了整合。
　　不过根据科技博客ArsTechnica的报道，Live Messenger中的Messenger服务并不会停止，至少不会在短期内停止。
　　Messenger服务使用了两种网络协议，支持第三方应用对该服务的调用。这两种协议分别为微软私有的MSP协议，以及开放的XMPP协议。微软于2011年12月使Messenger服务支持了XMPP协议。
　　在今年10月之前，微软将确保Messenger服务对XMPP协议的支持，而对MSP协议的支持将持续到2014年3月。因此，集成微软 Messenger服务的第三方应用仍可以正常提供功能，并在今年剩余时间内逐步转向其他服务。除第三方应用外，微软Windows Phone和Xbox也使用了Messenger服务。(张帆)
